A little brag on my hubby . . .

I have to tell everyone what my sweet husband did for me this morning. He usually tries to take Mondays off, so today we woke up and talked about what was on the schedule. I had plans to do a little grocery shopping, but nothing else. So as I'm getting ready, he says, "Babe, why don't you go "fun" shopping today." To which I replied, "We don't have the money in the budget this month." To which he replied that he had been saving up money for me to spend a day shopping for clothes. Isn't that sweet? So he sent me out to hours of fun at Kohl's and the mall, and he stayed home and played with Adrianna. It kind of felt like Christmas and I shopped to my heart's content. I am SO privileged to live with such a thoughtful, loving guy. Thanks, Nate!!!

Very - very impressive Kris - I just love when guys do those little (or big) things that let you know they really are watching you and realizing the things you appreciate. Way to go Nate :)We miss you guys - things are going well in the youth group though -we had a great trip to St. Vincent and really saw the Lord do some awesome things. I hope you are enjoying your ministry there!

I understand what you mean about needing shirts! Who knew pregnancy changed every single part of ya! :) I feel like my shoulders are huge!
I am looking on ebay right now for this DVD! Meanwhile, I've been filling my baby with Little Einsteins. They always have art and classical music - it's on the disney Channel.

That's so sweet! Ask him if he's been putting a little aside for me, too :) Sue

I'm not sure what I would've enjoyed more -- the shopping or some time shopping without Kayla. Not that I don't love being with her every day and she does make outings fun in her way, but a little break makes me enjoy her even more when I get home. Does that sound bad to admit? At any rate, it's the truth for me.

Excellent! What fun! It is funny, cuz Don is such a great shopper too, that he doesn't really wanting me to go by myself. He likes to have a say in what I get (not that he doesn't trust me, he just likes me to branch out of my traditional style that I have been in since, uh, middle school or so! =) So, we tend to make a date out of it. Which is also a great time. Now, I prefer going with him than with myself!

so very nice! Steve did that for me at the beginning of the summer and it just was so thoughtful and kind of him! I'm thinking about doing the same for him--but with books--we'll see how it goes;))) (he's much better at saving than I am!!!!) I look forward to seeing pictures of your finds! ;)
