"How Does Your Garden Grow . . ."

My Mom and Dad are visiting for a few days, and Dad offered to get a garden going for us. Nate and I have wanted a garden since we first got married, so this is pretty cool for us. We planted tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, green peppers, onions and green beans. I'm hoping I develop a green thumb because in the past I've not had much luck with living things. But Dad's giving me good tips.

You'll have to let us see progress pictures of your garden throughout the summer. It will definitely be a learning experience. I gardened with my parents growing up, but I don't know if I could do it on my own.

Keep us posted on your garden! I love gardening and can only dream of a day when I will be able to plant all those veggies! AS of now, I have 1 squash (that is taking over the garden), 3 tomatoes, 4 green pepper plants, and a few herbs. The bummer is that only my front yard gets full sun...so I look like a hick with all these vine plants growing in my front yard, but my neighbors love the fresh produce! You chose some good veggies to start with...just watch out for the squash!!!

That's so cool! I always wanted a garden too... just planted my first tomato plant a few weeks ago. Hope your thumb is greener than mine! :)
