Nate and I took Adrianna to the beach this afternoon. When we got there, a sign said the water was 53 degrees. But that didn't stop Adrianna (it stopped me though!). She loved it and enjoyed the sand too. It was a perfect day. :-)
I can't believe she was willing to wade in the water either! Kayla wouldn't -- last month, she didn't even like it when the water was 78 degrees and the sun wasn't shining to make her feel warmer. The pool at the camp we're at this week is 74 degrees (mountains of Virginia), and she pulled her swimsuit out this morning and said "Swimming mommy." We'll see what she thinks once she gets in this afternoon...
Nate and I have been married for almost seven years. Adrianna is four, and Natalie turned two in September. We've been enjoying a ministry in Michigan for over three years and love serving a great God!

I can't believe that AJ went into that cold water!! It looks like you and Nate will have to take several trips to the Lake this summer :-)
What a fun day together. Adrianna is looking so grown up :o)
Adrianna is very brave. I do not think I could make myself get into that cold of water. I am with you Kris...stay where it is warm.

Ahhh . . . the memories of that shore come flooding back! I loved Lake Michigan, but not the 53 degrees! Wow that's cold!
Glad you could enjoy some down time in between all the gardening, ministering, cleaning, studying, etc!
So cute! Shiloh's very impressed with AJ's toughness! :)
